Karin Remencová graduated from the Košice Conservatory in the piano class of Ivan Miller, then she continued her studies at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava as a pupil of Ida Černecká and František Pergler. As a student she participated in the international competition Piano Bratislava, where she was awarded a special prize of Halina Czerna-Stefańska, in the Leoš Janáček International Competition in Brno, where she acquired the 3rd prize, she won the Yamaha scholarship and took part in several performing classes at home and abroad.
She has performed with the Košice State Philharmonic and Slovak Philharmonic. Presently she has been teaching at the Academy of Performing Arts and State Conservatory in Bratislava. As a piano accompanist she is regularly invited to workshops, auditions and performing competitions.
She has appeared at the latest CD of the flutist Dagmar Zsapková, entitled Vice Versa, and she has collaborated with Jela Špitková, Luisa Sello, František Török, Jozef Podhoranský, Barbora Gálová, Karol Samuelčík and Brno City String Quartet as their chamber partner.
