Timotej Streďanský was born in Topoľčany in 2006. He began playing the guitar at the age of nine. He took guitar lessons from Vladimíra Calcagni at the Ladislav Mokrý Elementary School of Arts in Topoľčany. He is currently studying at the Dezider Kardoš Private Conservatory in Topoľčany in Karol Kompas’s class. He has participated in several master classes (C. Cotsiolis, M. Escarpa, A. Mesirca, E. Jabłczynska, D. Kupinski, M. Krajčo, M. Nagy, R. Gallen, A. Csáki, M. Socías).
During his studies, he placed in numerous international and national competitions. Among the most notable are: 1st place and overall winner at the Slovak Conservatories Competition (2025), 1st place at the International Guitar Festival in Brno (2025), 1st place at Guitar Styria (2026), 2nd place at the Szeged International Guitar Competition (2026), and others. He has performed at numerous concert events, including EMCY Slovakia – the Winners’ Concert in the Mirror Hall of the Primate’s Palace, and at festivals such as the Guitar Festival in Modra, Allegretto, Iuvenilis Cithara, and Nitra Music Spring.
