The program "From Andalusia to Liverpool" of the top international guitar quartet will be played in the impressive Garden of Albrechts’ House (Kapitulská 1). It contains compositions by Ernest Halffter and Sergio Assad and is also decorated with an original approach to Janáček and the music of the Beatles.

Young Slovak Guitarists

The young generation of the Slovak guitar school will perform at the afternoon concert. This time the students of the J. L. Bella Conservatory in Banská Bystrica - the winners of the Slovak Conservatory Competition 2021 Karolína Kantorová and Štefan Gazdík.

Allá donde se habla el castellano

A guitar recital by renowned Cuban guitarist Joaquín Clerch will be performed on Friday, September 3, in the Hall of Mirrors of Primate's Palace. In his project Allá donde se habla castellano are dominating songs of Spanish origin, but includes music from various Hispanic areas. He simply introduces music from those parts of the world "where Spanish is spoken".

If you want to "see what he hears and hear what he sees" at the enfant terrible guitar festival of the Slovak music scene guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, singer, lyricist and producer Andrej Šeban, you have a unique opportunity for the second festival evening at the St. John of Nepomuk Courtyard. The famous improvisation, which is the basis of his work, is a promise of a unique and non-traditional guitar experience.

Tango y Baião

The Tango y Baião program offers unique arrangements of Piazzolla's music by Sergio Assad, charming music by Brazilian Carlos Guastavino and the world premiere of the Brazilian-Cuban piece Gismontiana. Slovak guitarists Radka and Martin Krajčo, Karol Samuelčík and Ondrej Veselý will take you through the top works of the Latin-American repertoire with the Mucha Quartet and their guests.
